Meetings & Training

Enright Plumbing, Inc. believes safety meetings are a vital key to our safety program. Safety meetings act as a major line of communication for our safety program. Through safety meetings we can perform training in new topics, refresh our memories regarding safe work procedures, and provide a medium for input by those individuals actually performing the work. Field employees can provide a first-hand perspective on safety issues and/or necessary changes in procedures.

Enright Plumbing will hold the following safety meetings:

At a minimum of once a week Tool Box Talks:
Safety MeetingUsually held on Monday mornings. During toolbox talks certain issues will be discussed that need to be corrected from the pervious week or day. In this meeting safety notes and reviews are covered. After four weeks worth of material is covered a short test follows.
When encountering new work or unforeseen hazards:
A safety meeting will be called immediately to communicate the new information to all Enright employees.
Anytime the company supervisor deems it necessary:
If the supervisor feels work is not progressing safely, all work will be stopped and a meeting will be held to establish the proper work procedures.
A monthly training session conducted by Safe-T-Link:
In these training seminars a particular subject is covered in detail. Enright employees are shown videos, powerpoint demonstration, hands on demonstration, and finally a test on what they learned.
Some of the topics covered during the monthly training seminars:
Safety MeetingAsbestos, barricades, confined space, cranes, drug & alcohol abuse, excavation, fall protection, fire plan, hazard communication, infection control, ladder safety, lockout/tagout, material handling, personal protective equipment, public safety, rigging, scaffold, tool safety, and work place violence.
